We had more pass plays in the 1st half of this game than we had attempts last week. WR's played a bit sloppy. Harris did what was asked of him. There were over 23 pass plays called. Pretty solid.
The pumpers would hold up Tired of Flossing, though I dont really count him since Im pretty sure that's just Taints alter.
I don't really see the point here. Not a lot more passing but you can't tell me you didn't see differences from last week. They mixed it up on offense a lot more, didn't try to hide the QB, and didn't stop trying to score once we up by 14. Everyone got a chance to see just how special this offense with Fournette AND Harris can be. I think this is all a lot us have been asking for. The question is... was this real progress or is Auburn really just that bad. I think Auburn is bad but the offense took a huge step forward today. It will only get better now as Harris continues to gain confidence on the field and Cam/Miles gain confidence in his ability. He is making good decisions, has a cannon, and the ability to run when nothing develops. I just wish we had gotten some this learning curve out of the way last year instead of wasting the year on AJ.
45 points the most lsu has ever scored against auburn & miles done it twice. total domination! let's see who's man enough to admit they was wrong!
Yep, AU didnt stop playing and neither did we. Huge point over last week. We could have kept LF7 in, but up over 3 scores in the 4th is enough.
I think it was obviously better play calling. Still played hide the QB to some degree. I don't think AU is a good team, but when the offense scores 45 on an SEC opponent that is not Vandy they're playing good ball.
