All Tiger fans watch Monday Night Football tonight. Watch Jacob shine again against the Seahawks.:champs:
honestly, he was not as impressive tonight. maybe, due to the fact that the opponents were paying more respect to HesterRun. Go Hester!!!
He played well for having a 2nd and 3rd line paving the way. I would put last years LSU's 1st line againsh the Charger 2nd for 13 weeks and you can watch Hester sail. Ron Jaworski is such a tool. He said Hester ain't hittin holes like he did at LSU and that this ain't LSU and please dude just shut up. Hester takes her in on the follow up! :hihi: Darren Sproles is just a freak. His block in the backfield covering the rush was a highlight. Nice little pre-seasoner though. :thumb:
I was thinking it was a quiet night for Hester, but that's going to happen. In his defense (I only watched the first half), the line wasn't opening holes to hit. The 'hawks were zeroed in on the rush up the middle. On another note, did anybody else but me watch Sproles and see what Holiday can become? 5-6, 180........hmmmmm........ Holiday is 5-6, 170 this season, with one more to go.
Holliday is a very generous 5'-5". Since he is listed at 5'5 he is most likely 5-3 and a half. KSU listed Sproles at 5-7"
Eh...I hear it different ways from different sites. Articles say one thing, listings say another. Either way, the same principal applies. In fact, if he can put ANOTHER ten pounds of muscle on a 5-5 frame, maybe he'll be that much tougher. I really expect him to break out this year.
Trindon is fantastic but his moves are no where near as good as Sprouls last night. That guy changed direction so quickly. It must be a nightmare trying to tackle him.
Well obviously he's not there yet, but Sproles is a pro and for good reason. I always liked Holiday's potential but thought his size was always going to hold him back. Sproles makes me optimistic about what what he can accomplish with more coaching, because his burst and accelleration are comparable.
There is a big limit on what Holliday can do in the NFL if he does make it. Keep in mind that Sproles was the starting RB at K-state and actually is a seasoned running back. Holliday is still learning the position behind four other running backs.
