Sorry you missed him but I hope you get the highlights after the game. His same self just in Blue. I am confident he will get his 3rd and 5's. Lot of talent lined up in the backfield but if LT had an injury, expect Jacob to be a hero. Once he finds the gaps in the line look out but he proved to San Diego that trading a second round was well worth trusting in AJ Smith. I think we can keep the Norv blasting down to a minimum this year. :hihi:
The Chargers have a nice stable for this coming season with a good mix of talents. LT can do it all and Sproles is the shifty get into space back. Hester can bang it up the middle and catch it out of the backfield. They are going to be fun to watch.
Tough to believe they would take LDT out on 3rd downs on a regular basis. He's too good of a receiver.
Hester makes case for Bolts roster spot with 2 TDs in win http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=280809024
Hester looked good, still can run over people. I watched the local Dallas broadcast, and when Hester scored his first TD, Moose Johnston said, "And taking a page from the Les Miles playbook...here's Hester." As for the game itself, the Dallas starters are a force with which to be reckoned. But the back-ups are beyond woeful. Special teams could well be an Achilles heel, as well. Felix Jones looked really good, as did Marion Barber (as usual) and Jason Witten (as usual). Zach Thomas looked strong, and Marcus Spears was actually getting some penetration into the backfield--something he just has never done as a pro. Hopefully, he'll have a break-out year, finally, and become the player he can be.
