bench pressing 350 for a 17-18 yr old that may be 6'8'' is not bad at all. long arms are a big disadvantage for bench press
If he is truly that tall and benches 350 at age 17-18, wait until Tommy and the "crew" get a hold of him. With a proper nutrition program and the Hatch Lifting System he may kill somebody before leaving LSU.
[ QUOTE]On his OU visit, his height was 6'8", and he weighed in at a swelt 395lbs.[/QUOTE] Just think if we could get him to visit Arkasas he would have 4.4 speed to go with that size!!!!!
He's a freakin monster. 6'8 and 395 pounds. Jesus Christ! If "The House" is as good as people are saying, and he uses his body, he'll be the best lineman to ever play college football.
Don't believe everything you read. He has a weight problem and he'll be a 2-yr project. But before he leaves LSU to play Sundays he'll have to get to LSU first ... Grades & THAT Test Score!!!!!! LSU will sign him ... he is in the bag. Just sharing my sources, take it or leave it.
LSU won this years National Championship title with guys who were not "5 STAR" rivals picks. Any athlete or coach who lives and dies by one person saying who is "best" in the rankings doesn't know squat.
On the subject of O-linemen, anyone know anything about Brandon Braxton and Calvin Darity (I don't want info about them as a player, I mean as in where they'll go)?
