A question: is 10-3 even a bad record?

I'm with you Isl. Going into the season people were saying we we're going to lose to Florida.

Their predictions came true (granted a little worse than they wanted) but now all of a sudden the sky is falling?

I don't know if LSU will go undefeated the rest of the season, but if we meet Florida in the SECCG later this year. . .it's going to be a completely different story.

Remember, Florida hadn't used Rainey and Demps really until the 4th QTR of the Arkansas game. LSU really didn't have a good idea of the type of game plan Florida was going to run. But now that bubble's burst and there won't be any more surprises like that.

Going into the game everyone was saying "Harvin and Tebow. We have to stop them." Aside from a pair of plays, they weren't what killed us. It was the 2 unknows that did it.

That might have been a mistake by the DC's to not gameplan for them, but I can promise you, LSU will be foaming at the mouth to play Florida again.

Yea, and all the speculation leading up the SECCG will be "Florida blew out LSU in regulation, will they do it again?" The boys will hear constant "Florida is going to maul you again; what's the point?" We won't need bulletin board material because ESPN will provide it on a daily basis leading up to the game. Oh, and we will have RJF playing too, with a tight muzzle on him of course.

But, I want to extend my worries as well about Georgia and Bama...those will be tough games but :milesmic: can pull us through; Bama will be very emotional game. I hope CLM is looking for a DC, though, in between practices.

Before I start worrying about the SECCG, we still have to get thru OCT and NOV. I never would have thought our running game would have been shut down....

I really can't believe that they will come out that flat again this year. They should play with a chip on their shoulders for the rest of the year, now having been humbled. From now on, if they get beat the other team will have to earn every inch. That was too easy for Florida because LSU was believing their own hype. They were a young team living off the spectre of last year and now I have to believe they will realize that nothing is owed to them.
