Observations on my first trip to Athens this past Saturday: 1) Beautiful setting outside campus along E Broad St, but glad LSU doesn't have that kind of "strip". It's OK for visiting fans, but definitely takes away from the on-campus atmosphere. 2) Only 1 jerkoff UGA fan I can remember and he was sitting two seats down from me, drunk off his can. No cat calls, no "FU LSU" or "Tiger still suck" after the game. Even amidst the sea of red and black exiting the game, the only thing I got was a small "boo" from a petite girl in black dress. 3) That said, with over 92,000 in attendance, I was not impressed with the crowd. Maybe it's the accoustics of the place, but 92,000 sounds soooo much louder in Tiger Stadium. I noticed the same thing in 2006 at UT; somehow 92,000 in DV sounds so much louder than 100,000+ in Knoxville Overall, a good time in Athens. It's a nice area to visit, fans were great, game was won, and Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson can eat it.
i want to know 2 things. 1. how in the hell are lsu fans getting numbers of players, and coaches at UF? 2. how come the only time anyone ever hears about this, its when UF comes to LSU? anyone think this is all fabricated? LSU fans can't be the only fans in the nation who have done this, and why only florida?
1. theyve called a lot of people. 2. there are a lot fo people out there that can get you someones address and phone number in a few seconds.
Exactly. And why only when Fla comes to BR? A part of me thinks at least some of this is being perpetrated by Gator fans to fire theyre team up. That's why it only happens when they come to BR. They have the crowd behind them at the Swamp.
When it happened two years ago, people were wearing shirts around campus with Tebow's number. It may be fabricated this year, but it was definitely real then. I don't think it is a stretch to think it happened again.
ok so maybe some LSU fans did do that, but why only LSU? Are LSU fans the only ones who decide to go find numbers? And those numbers have to come from either someone who works for AT&T or Verizon or something, or someone close to those programs.
youre being naive. it happens all the time and is on espn all the time. maryland basketball fans do it every wednesday and saturday. every recruit and their parents have these cell phone numbers. recruits have friends... plus, there are fans out there that can easily look up information on the internet. its a relatively easy challenge for them.
Not trying to be mean but wow, this post, nice as it was/is, just stands out in this thread like just does not fit.
