    That's rough man.

Screw ESPiN, they are only interested in making it a story. That said, it sucks when a small portion of your fan base does crap like this, (like rolling burning dumpsters down the street vs. scUM in 02)

That said, and I don't like to make generalizations about all gator fans, but lets just say that I met enough unpleasant ones in NO to believe a large portion of them are capapble of just about anything. Could they be texting their own players to try and make LSU look bad? conspiracy theory to be sure, but wouldn't surprise me one bit if at least a percentage of the calls and texts were to psych up their own team.

either way, won't really matter come saturday in DV. Good luck this weekend, I'm really hoping Tebow is somehow able to play when they get knocked off their pedestal.

You know I thought about this very thing, or at least close. How would someone get one of their phone numbers? It would not surprise me if they were sent out by fu just to stir it up.

Someone should text ESPN to hire a real journalist. How about some proof and real facts here? The story is based on here say. This fat tub of $h!+ should go back to school.

Thats funny Tenn. fans are saying Gator fans and other SEC fans are the ones who sent the letters to the Barn coaches before the game last sat. Face it every fan base has the bad fans that make everyone look bad. I have met some very nice LSU fans then turn around and walk a block and run into Mr. Ahole. I have been to all of the SEC teams stadiums except South Carolina and have met very nice fans and some very bad ones that leave you shaking your head. Believe it or not UF does not hold the patent (spelling)for bad fans they are at every school. Btw Joe Haden thought most of them were funny said him and Coop got a big laugh out of most and not too many of them were real hatefull. I just hope they dont have to pay for them.
I wish I was going to the game but cant make it this year. I would wish yall luck but cant do it this week lol but will wish for an injury free game for both teams.

Trust me there are schlepps on both sides of the fence, on every team. Especially ones who havent been around for the bad times but jump on board the wagon when all is well. THen they think they are the best and mock and ridicule all opposition. They are idiots. However good clean banter and hijinx between teams makes it fun as long as its all done in fun. Good sportsmanship is hard to find these days. You can still be serious and want to win more than anything and yet at the same time have fun and wish your opponents well. Those are the guys who stand out and have figured it out. Rare breeds that others mock. Tebow is one of those cool guys anyone honest would want on their team. But people who are immature mock and rip them with serious motives of hatred. Amazing how fanboyism can give the sport and team they claim to represent a bad name.

I don't think anyone that's been around here really doubts that there are some lsu fans out there doing this. Its been happening for a long time now. Its pretty pathetic. I hope they figure out who's getting these numbers out.

You're right - true sportsmanship seems to be a dying breed. But there are a lot of us all over the SEC that can truly respect the opponent while being 100% behind our own teams.

I grew up the son of a Texas Aggie. I think I owe my enjoyment of the game itself to him and the way the Aggies taught him. There was a a lot of good, clean fun in the way the Aggies and the Longhorns gave each other grief - and it engendered a strong rivalry that was, for the most part, all in fun.

I'm a Tiger and I am always behind my team - but I also respect our opponents as being just as passionate in their love for their team as I am for mine.

The only problem I have with Tebow is that I think he would have looked GREAT in purple and gold. I wish him a full and complete recovery. He takes a lot of grief for being a "good guy". I respect him all the more because he stands by his beliefs.

Oh yeah- to you VERY classy Gator fans who have been posting here, good to see you here - hope you'll be back after the game. And of course, you realize you are only TIGER BAIT!
