    There are various reasons to fire Les now rather than wait to November-December, but the only reason that would justify firing him now would be if admin has decided Les's staying on would be a huge distraction because the fans and media criticism have already passed the point of no return. LSU better not screw this up. See Texas. See Norte Dame.
