I just renewed my paid subscription to this board after a lapse. I joined in '03 and really enjoyed the good inside info and insight that was posted here then. I read more than post and have missed some of those quality observations that was once a trademark of this message board. That said I feel there is a new era of posters here (along with some old timers) that make it worth being a paid subscriber again. As far as the football team is concerned I had a feeling in '03 that they were going to the N.C. game and I have that same feeling now. I have ticket stubs from both N.C. games in New Orleans and I plan on adding another to my collection in January. You say,"well if this happens or that happens", FORGET ABOUT IT! I have bought a plane ticket and have made hotel reservations (everything is sold out for the N.C. dates) to see this LSU football team play for the championship game in January and mark this down,it is going to happen. We have an incredible opportunity to get there again this football season. Just like last year this season almost entirely depends on the most important position on the field. QB. We must see more progress from Zach to get to the big game because Jordan Jefferson will not get us there. Oline will be better. Receivers will be better. Running game will be good. Defensive backs should be incredible and the front 7 is young but extremely talented. It's all about the QB. The same thing we have been saying since 2003.
