But we're forgetting one huge thing here: The Darren McFadden factor.

Arkansas football was crap before McFadden and look at all the national attention he received. He is a one man wrecking crew. Dude finished 2nd in the Heisman voting as a sophomore.

Could JM want to be that one man wrecking crew for Ole Miss?

    Wow, what a great gift.

I just released him on his way to go do great things at LSU. Should be fun.

That's definitely the wild card. But the advantage to coming to LSU is that you'll never have to face our defense.

Damn, I completely forgot about that.

    Ok, he's 100 % LSU.

"Coach Curtis was just on the radio in Mobile and said JM will not visit Bama....and that Joe is an LSU lean, but OM still has a shot. "

I just dont see why a person of his caliber would want to play for a team that is obviously not as noteworthy as LSU...that just stumps me...

I am getting tired of all our players that we have raised and watched grow up playing football going to other states..I think if he goes to Ole Miss he will be making a big mistake and he will regret it....just my thoughts..

Going to ole miss for a guy with his talent would be insane, I think he may just be playing games with everyone. I would hate to see him go to USC but I could understand it, ole miss on the other hand would be a tremendous waste of his great talent.

I agree, but ultimately it is his decision and I hope that he comes to LSU...will be praying for it all weekend until Wednesday..

but if everyone remembers, Ryan Perilloux was like this and he came so...lets keep our fingers crossed and anything else we have to cross.....:eek:ldskule:

    Oh please

You don't really believe these two nutjobs are really informed SC fans do you?

Siberian Kiss is an idiot. He mentions recruiting in the West and Broderick Green in the same breath but BG is from Arkansas. I guess if you're in New York, he's in the West.

As far as Price, he's been a utla commmit for some time but has continued to get love from SC. He went to several of our home games last year and just a few weeks ago, he was with the group of recruits when JM was visiting. Price attended our bkb game and then had dinner with the fellas. Doesn't get any more full court press than that but if he's going to utla, then that's it.

Regarding Austin, there's no doubt we'd love to have him and who wouldn't? I think it's been obvious to informed SC fans that he's unlikely to come out of the region.

As far as artiec17, that post is obvious sarcasm. Look at the list of players he's calling losers. They are all unbelievable and each has made individual contributions to the program. Out of state losers like Everson Griffin and Kris O'Dowd? That is hysterical. Both the top recruits out of Arizona. They don't call Griffin "The Freak" for nothing. If you do have a rivals subscription, then you have access to some of his tapes from various camps. I'm telling you, his combination of size and speed is scary.

Bottom line is, rivals is the last place to go for "real" information or legit fans, at least as far as SC is concerned.
