I gotta take up for Islstl here. Dude is always putting a positive spin on things. Look at the thread title.
Hold up While our depth chart is thick, the numbers and names are a bit off. We still have no idea if Broderick Green is even coming our way. At this point, he's as much PSU's as he is ours. Marc Tyler will be a freshman and is coming off a serious leg fracture. No telling if he'll be 100% by the season opener. The other 3 RB's are bigger not necessarily faster backs. Think of them as the LenDale to Joe's Reggie. Turner, Hazelton, and Ausberry are tremendous. Turner is big but lacks break away speed. Hazelton is a stud. He's the Z guy.....running curls, outs, and posts. Ausberry was the standout on our black shirt squad and is the likely heir to the split end throne that Jarrett leaves behind. You forgot to mention Patterson and Holland. Holland was the state speed champ and is FAST. Both are the X type of receiver. McKnight brings something completely different. He's a multiple threat. He can run, fake, catch, go deep. Reggie ran the wheel to perfection and it could be the same for JM. I still think he's likely to end up a Tiger but it won't be because of our depth chart.
Sorry but that's not right either The Reggie "scandal" is in large part being propogated by the media, specifically Yahoo! Sports. The story was revived last week because a judge in the civil case requested tapes for the grand jury. That case has nothing to do with the NCAA and their investigation. Any potential punishment is a long way off and not a certainty. Relationship with his coaches is the key. He'll see playing time no matter where he goes.
