I don't know who is calling our offensive gameplan, but a monkey could call a defense for it thus far. Why don't we RUN more out of the spread, and PASS or play action from the I formation? At least we passed a few times from the I in the second half and burned them with the play action to Lafell. The ONLY thing that gives me some hope is that they may actually be trying to be predictable to catch some teams off guard the next few weeks.

That's the mantra the Sunshine Pumpers Association (SPA, for those in the know) are working with.

They also believe in a 9/11 conspricacy by the Govt and that Adolf Hitler is still alive in Argentina somewhere.

    But I digress.

Don't get me wrong, I aint pumpin sunshine and anyone who is is in denial.
Sure, its a small glimmer but the other option is I know more about predictable offense than WHOEVER is calling plays. If thats the case God help us.

I agree, but the o-line would have to step up regardless. Bad o-line = bad QB play and bad run game.

I also wish teams would let the QB try to play and figure out the defense on his own. Now, it seems teams always look to the sideline before the snap to make adjustments. It's like the QB is being babied and not allowed to mature. The game is changing, and in this sense, I don't like it. It seems to throw off the momentum or something.

The pass blocking was at an acceptable level today.

They are improving in that regard.

And Shepard doesn't need much blocking. He's that good.

We must spread the defenses we play out. I agree with the original post.

While your idea would probably work, we all know it won't happen.

Did Shepard see the field in the second half?

I agree with this too, Shep should be in the game on 75% of the snaps.
