Does Mettenberger still not have enough handle of the offense that he could not have come in and tried to establish the vertical passing game JJ could not do and Lee, apparently not allowed to try??? What would have happened if Jefferson would have been hurt??? Guess we will NEVER know and I can bet Miles has been, and will be asked what he was thinking until the next season starts!!!

We have seen this half of the season. Ever since Lee threw the two interceptions Les has had it in for him. Jefferson has played exactly the same for years. Options where he keeps the ball himself. Last night it was not working and Les should have put someone else in during the first half while there was still time to recover. This game was lost because of horrible decision making and poor play making.

you had a 5th yr sr who was undefeated thru the first 8 games this season. most coaches would be happy if their backup had any significant snaps at all to this point.

And they would have made the switch...on any level. Yes, probably even Curley Hallman.

Yet there Jarrett Lee stands, helmet-less. Swallowing a lot of pride knowing he could do no worse. And deserved his shot.

Probably woke up this morning even more confused than our fanbase.
