A lot of people thought eventually Miles would bring this program down and while it has'nt reached that point yet, it could. It's all on his shoulders to prove those people wrong.
Speak for yourself, I predict Herbie will lose a testacle in a tragic golf ball washing incident gone wrong. What? My predictions are based on just as many facts and reasonable conclusions as his. :thumb:
That's actually not a bad prediction although it could be lost from Holts washing them... hmm guess it's still the same thing though. :thumb:
Opportunities for early playing time will attract recruits. Some of you guys sound like Bammers. One down season in the last 8 years and it's all doom and gloom. Geez . . . it's not even a losing season.
That could never happen. Holtz just talks to his golf ball and wipes it off. He dont need no damn ball washer. :hihi:
the whole situation just seems very confusing to me. we have to remember that miles is the one who hired crowton and pellini which are two very good coaches so i imagine he does know the difference from good coaches and bad coaches but the move he made with the dc position is very strange considering one of the coaches was the special teams coach that did a pretty bad job at that position. all the problems lsu has can be fixed but its all on miles to do what needs to be done and that causes a lot of concern as to what decision he'll make about the dc position. i know the seniors didn't want to end this way and i'm thankful that they were able to win a national championship before leaving lsu.
Sports radio is projecting us to finish 3rd in the SEC west, at best. Unbelievable that Ole Miss would knock us out of second seed in a division we dominated for 2 years...
You are right about the 12 game thing, but most teams played 11 games a season since the mid 70s. Also, the SEC played only 6 conference games before '88 and didn't go to 8 games until '92 and division play. One last point, Miami was the team to lose 5 games in '84, but they did so by losing their bowl game. They also blew a 31-point halftime lead to Maryland. Who was the Miami coach? Jimmy Johnson in his first year there. I always have hope. GEAUX TIGERS
Exactly. I was thinking about that this morning, and LSU could be projected from anywhere from 1st to 4th.
