I don't really see the problem. Does anyone really think that LSU has looked like a top 5 team so far this year? Regardless of who you think is in the top 5, LSU has not looked like they are in that group, even with a flawless 5-0 record.
You said it....so yes. Does USC deserve to be ranked so high after losing to UW? How about Penn State, before their loss.....nothing proven there, Ole Miss? We deserve it untill we lose, then guess what, it will work itself out and we will fall. The big question is WHY THE HELL DOES IT PISS TIGER FANS OFF TO BE RANKED #4 ? If we do not deserve it, we will drop, and someone else who probably does not deserve it will move up. By the way, if we beat UF do they really deserve the #1 ranking now? Polls do not matter until the end of the year. Go ahead and do your own power ranking and put them at #12 if it makes you feel better. We take enough crap from the media, no need for Tiger fans to pile on our ranking, performance and schemes are understandable.
How is a top-5 team supposed to look? Are they supposed to open on the road and beat a BCS team that beat #1 USC? Are they supposed to beat the University of Lafayette Louisiana and Vanderbilt decisively? Are they supposed to win 2 SEC games on the road including a ranked team? Are they supposed to be ranked #1 in all five BCS computer rankings and #4 in human polls. What exactly does "looking like a top-5 team" consist of?
True...except!!! Both said LSU hasn't looked impressive. I ask you and them...What's more impressive? Winning at Washington? (LSU) or LOSING at Washington??????? (USC)
Please dont praise UW. I have the unfortunate time of living in Seattle and having to hear about UW all the time. They may improve in the future but what they did to USC has more to do with a deap seated rivalry and a lot of issues with SC. I think your team was rusty up here and had to work through a few things. No disrespect mind you but UW is pathetic. Hopefully Sarkisian will have his way in the future.
