What exactly has USC proven? They won't be there too long when Oregon and Stanford beat them. Yeah, Va Tech killed Miami, but then they struggled with Duke. They probably should have lost to Nebraska as well if not for a near miracle and three hours to throw the ball on 4th down. USC hasn't been impressive either. I give them credit for beating Ohio St., but Ohio St. isn't that good and they didn't play that well in that game either. They lost to Washington (who LSU beat). I don't care if they had their backup in or whatever. I think they only scored 26 against Washington St. (one of the worst teams out there). And they beat a pathetic Cal team who got beat worse the week before by Oregon. So if they're gonna talk about who has been impressive, they should at least be consistent. We haven't been, but neither have those teams and we DON'T have a loss. No matter how unimpressive you are, a W always beats an L and we have that over USC and Va Tech.
Well, I KNEW the idiot Musberger would have usc over lsu. for some reason, he hates louisiana. I know he's always hated the saints. I agree that they are both as%&%&$$ However, I hope the team prints it and posts it in the locker room and uses it as motivation. SCREW EM, go out there and take care of business, that's the only thing the team can control.
It's not that he hates LSU or Louisiana, it's all about ratings and $$$$$$. They have about 18 or 19 million people in Southern Calif. and what, about 4 1/2 million in Louisiana? He would rather keep the 19 million smiling than us. USC has a REAL GOOD chance of losing again to Oregon or Stanford and that will eliminate them from discussion. I mean we still have a$$ bites like Dr Lou pumping Notre Dame! They let him rant not only because he was once their coach but because they have a national fan base of who knows how many millions. If they get lucky enough to make it to a BCS bowl they will get crushed. They won't even beat a less than usual USC team and that will be a 2nd loss. They should have lost to UDub. Who we beat!
