You were definitely being an azz, so whatever is in yours, needs to be taken out. All of a sudden you are an expert, noone here knows that McCray has problems in coverage, thanks for being the first to point that out to everyone Christopher Columbus. CFB isnt all about matchups imo, Basketball is more about matchups then CFB.

Who cares about Lee being the Freshman Player of the Week? Better for us if it was Patrick Peterson.

With our Oline, running backs, and WRs, we are set up for a young QB to succeed. I think Jordan Jefferson could be outstanding as well, because he has more physical skills than Lee. But who knows?

I wonder how many "Saban fan, no need to be an azz" comments you will get. I'm betting not many because you are towing the party line. Just curious.

Ok, Herman Johnson then. I figured most would know who I was talking about, since every telecast of LSU football they tell the story of him being a 15lb13oz baby or something ridiculous.

So, running behind Ciron Black and Herman Johnson is our strength and should be the focus of the gameplan vs UF.

I've been to both places. Multiple times. Neither of y'all is very bright :hihi:

McCray won't be covering Percy Harvin. Outside of him, UF has little for us to be concerned about. Should Beckwith return, he'll do a better job covering the RB/TE than Riley did.

What you're either ignoring, or not seeing is McCray defending the run as well as any other safety in the SEC. You also see him coming over to help when a corner gets beat.

Our DCs can guess what type of play the opposition is running, and put McCray in and out accordingly. But then the opposition would just check out of that play and into another. We can't afford to be that predictable.

I'm trying to discuss football with you. That's kinda why I post on message boards. Where you're from/live now is irrellevant to me. Who agrees with my side is only slightly less irrellevant. You don't have to be popular, just back up your opinions and keep the discussion flowing.

You are using stats and stats can fool you. If Ducre doesn't drop that pass, the numbers look far different. Don't worry about the stats, worry about how they played. Too often, when they needed a big play, they got it in the passing game or with that kid running the ball. Thats all.

Uh, I don't know why you keep bringing UF vs Ole Miss into this. No one cares. No one esp cares what Tebow did running the ball. Its him throwing to his WRs (Harvin, that other kid #19 I think) that is going to challenge us.

If you think the way Bama played vs Tulane is going to determine how they play vs LSU, then I think you are too young to know what LSU vs SEC football is all about. We will get Alabamas best shot, believe it. I think UGA did too much reading of the papers this past week. When we play them, there'll be a sense of urgency. And that Frosh WR they have will put plenty of pressure on our DBs, to be sure.

The reason I am concerned is because we put it in cruise control last year vs Kentucky when we were up by ten in the second half and lost that game. Last year, we lost two games we had no business losing, and that team had arguably better talent than this one. If this team is so good that they can turn it on and off and will, I will owe them a big apology for ever doubting. But until then, I am going to be concerned over what I witness.

I hope you are correct about why we let down. I hope so. :geaux:

Now I'm "special"? Wow. We disagree, so I must be retarded. I can't just have a differing point of view. I've gone so long from Lafayette, I forget how you acolytes of Edwin Edwards used to enforce the law.

Yes, I am retarded. I must be or how else could I ever disagree with the omnipotent Sabanfan. BTW, you ever think about changing your screenname? Being that Saban hasn't been the coach of LSU for what 4 years? I know, I'll change my name to Dietzelfan. Not when he coached at SC, but when he coached at LSU.

And for the record, I didn't watch the Bama/UGA game. I watched it inscreen when we were in timeout, but I kept it on the LSU game all night.

I tell ya Tigerbait, I am a bit shocked to see how many of these fans don't realize that SEC football is different than some random SEC team playing Tulane. I am glad you get it.

I feel like I am on a Tosu board, having to explain to them what SEC football is about.

If both sides met somewhere in the middle they would probably find reality.

We have some weaknesses that have been covered up but we also have developed players quite well so far. If we dont improve we will lose to a few teams. The good news is we have been improving, and based on results from the past I think these improvements will continue.

Just might be he is still a fan of Saban. Just might be Dietzelfan was already used. It's OK, some of us still like Saban, just that cool names are hard to come by anymore. Look at your name and look at mine, riff raff but that comes with being last in line on name day. :thumb:
