Make that || and I'll take your mortgage (assuming your bookie doesn't have a lien already.) I look over this remarks here and have little trouble with any of his thoughts and opinions. Is there still some sort of grudge being held against Herbstreit because his sources were indicating Miles and Michigan were talking?
With all due respect , I have to disagree Ramah. I’ve never thought Herbie was an OSU homer. He’s more of a Bama homer than anything really. I hate Bama more than anybody but I can tell you that their success has earned them a lot of homers. Btw, Herbie...Chiasson should’ve won. Also I think LSU-Texas will end up being a game of the year.
@ehusson80 did you ever consider Tim Brando to be a homer when he was in the CBS booth? I've seen fans label him accordingly although I've always just considered him a blowhard; a mentor to the Kanell types of the sports media.
It’s so obvious Herbstreit is a Buckeye and Big Ten homer ... You must be blind not to see it ... Lemme do a short recap Evidence: 10. Best Pass Rusher (Chase Young OSU) 11. Game of Year (Michigan vs OSU) 18. Biggest Shoes to fill (OSU QB) 24. Top Baller (Joe Burrow former OSU QB) 25. Best guy on island (OSU DB Okudah) 27. Best band (OSU) 28. Playoff Bracket OSU # 3 These are the picks of a hope-and-a-prayer artist ... Preseason Overrated (as usual) OSU (#5) would be beaten (badly) by: 1. Alabama (2) 2. Georgia (3) 3. LSU (6) 4. Florida (8) ... And possibly 5. Texas A&M (12) OSU vs (16) Auburn would be a toss up... Anyone wanna bet on Chase Young as the best pass rusher in America by year’s end?
Read previous short recap post ... I’ll mark your love of Texas & OSU as Top 11 Teams This forces both to win their popcorn or weed whack bowls to make the Top 11 as NEITHER WILL SNIFF TOP 8 and playoffs. OSU & ANY BIG 12 CHUMP-ION ALWAYS GETS EXPOSED
I did. I laughed at it just liked I laughed at the first one. You're bitching about the Herbie Awards as selected by Herbie because that's who Herbie likes the best this season. There's no love lost for either. You know that. I'll forgive the hyperbole. A three loss team is a top 11 team at the end of the season. There's solid argument to be made in both cases that those teams can finish 10-3.
Here’s a FUN FACT to stick in your Assumptions of a 10-3 season ... Which TOP 10 team (at least 1 has finished unranked in all years since playoffs began) will finish unranked (out Top 25)? You get three picks to nail the PRETENDER I like Texas (1st), then Michigan then NotreDame
I enjoyed hearing Stewart Scott getting fired up about UNC, or hearing SVP get excited for Maryland. Brando struck me a few times but I can't say any of them bother me by fandom. Unfounded opinions...get those from any fan or commentator.
