I'd like to see white or purple jerseys with any combination old gold and purple pants. I liked what I saw out of the helmets but thought there was too much white going on.
I should clarify. What you posted are LSU's official colors but my point should have been LSU's traditional colors. I know they've had mustard yellow for a while but it's not the schools original colors. :wink:
I watched the game in Dallas with lots of family and a few friends who are not LSU fans (mostly Longhorns and one Sooner). They generally liked the unis a lot, espacially the helmets. I could grow to love them if we get our gold pants back and do something different with the jersey sleeve stripes. Liked the "L" on the hip and the TIGERS in the rear waist. The gloves were a huge hit with non LSU fans too. I love our long standing tradition but wouldn't mind if we went a little more like Oregon and had 3 different colors of pants as long as we still usually wear our white jerseys except on special occasions. I don't see us making a permanent change right now.
Not the ppurple pants. I saw them at a LSU loss to Kentucky in the 90s and I never want to see the purple pants again. :geaux: :helmet: ldskule:
I absolutely loved the uniforms, could use a little more color. I think every team wearing the new Nike uniforms Saturday won. LSU, Florida, Mizzou, VaTech, Texas. Who else?
