    and I thought 25 mill/per was a lot.

arod hit his 47th and 48th homer (in the same inning) of the year. 134 rbi, 127 runs, 22 swipes. .640 slg/1.060 ops

21 games left. he will hit the FA market then rape the yankee fans for raping him these first few years.

will be interesting if they sign him longterm so that he will be wearing pinstripes when destroying just about every record attainable.

i say he plays for the yanks 10 more years, destroys every individual record and never wins a ring. just how it should be. i like arod, i just hate the yankees more.

need tim kurkjistan to break it all down soon. like that dude.

The Yankees are the only team that can pay him $35 mill and I think that might even be a stretch for them. If he convinces the old man shell it out, more power to him.

If A-Rod gets any hotter, he'll get his ring this year. 3 up in the Wild Card and they've already shown Boston that they are the Yankee's bitch.

Yeah, I'm getting cocky. The rest of the league should have put the Yanks away when they had the chance.

im pulling for them to make the playoffs just so a-rod can stink up the playoffs again. better still, maybe the yanks and giants in the w.s. so both he and bonds can hit .111 in front of the world.
