Matt Flynn didn't win a Heisman but he led a charmed life. Never was a starter but he walked away from the game unscathed after making about $20 million.
Doing the math, 78% on all passes, 10.7 ypa = 13.8 yards per completion 66% on pressured passes, 11.7 ypa = 17.7 yards per completion Under pressure, when he completes a pass, it's a significantly longer pass play than his average on the season by nearly 30%.
Right now, one of the more sought-after traits for a quarterback is the ability to create outside of the structure. Burrow is one of few collegiate quarterbacks to pass that with flying colors. When Burrow has been forced outside of the pocket (non-designed rollouts and scrambles), he is, once again, the nation's highest-graded quarterback and has an accurate-pass rate 13% higher than second place. If all that advanced data didn’t convince you that Burrow is the best college quarterback in 2019 then maybe this will put it into perspective: Not only is he the highest-graded quarterback under pressure, but his grade under pressure is better than the clean-pocket grade of 84 FBS quarterbacks. Calling it insane is an understatement. He has thrown just one interception under pressure while throwing 15 touchdowns. Whether he is in a clean pocket or under duress, Burrow can quite literally do it all. https://www.pff.com/news/college-fo...-lsu-offense-went-from-unknown-to-unstoppable Mega awesome article
I love em too but if you put a gun to my head I couldn't tell you for sure what they are selling. Some kind of car? So the commercials are effective in getting my attention but inefficient at selling a product.
On the other hand I hate Flo, the perky pesky Progressive pitchwoman but it's drilled into my head that it's Progressive insurance.
They are actually Nissan commercials. Yunno, because it takes an elite athlete to prop up a piece of shit.
