HE didnt fall on the guy, he jumped over him after he pancaked him. I thought it was an excellent block.
it was a phantom call. sec refs are inept. not only do they miss obvious calls, they are taught to make up calls if they are bored. they get paid per flag thrown which is a bad system. they also get paid per minute under the hooded replay camera and time and a half per overturned call. double time if they overturn a correct call. then they laugh and drink beers at hooters on tuesdays with the head of officials who announces to the media they got every call right....again.
:geaux: Like the Penn St. player did in the Cap One Bowl, but then Hitt gets a penalty called for pulling him off. :dis: :LSU231:
Well, Miles is not one to complain about the refs all that much, and he mentioned that and the onsides-kick call in his comments yesterday. Too bad Hebert had to go from a game-sealing pancake block on a TD run to a penalty that negated a score and set up ensuing buffoonery.
Phatom call or not, I was happy that T-Bob was able to step in, seamlessly, when Blackwell was injured. T-Bob was ready to play despite an overly eventful off season while competing for a starting job in another position. Well done.
That penalty was huge. I have always been mystified with holding calls and how they seem to be subjective.
