I got mine in the mail today and have already watched it. I guess it was just o.k.... I'm not sure what I expected....maybe more NFL Films - style commentary, but I'm a little disappointed. anyone else?
Mine too dude! But then after thinking about it I don't think you can take anything away from this season. I could have put it together and kermit the frog could be the commentator and I don't think I would care as long as I saw the highlights of this season combined! It was a season to remember and as long as it is the actual highlights I don't care about much else!
:helmet:I have the same feelings as yall. It wasnt what I expected. The one made in 03' was better in my opinion. This one does not show any practice or spring drills like the one made in 03'. It has some lockerroom speeches by Coach Miles that are pretty cool but other than that I was kinda dissapointed. But you know what we dont need a good DVD to remember this season. We lived it baby. I have to agree that I am a little disappointed in the main feature of the DVD (the season recap). Overall I think it was well done, I wish they could have gotten the rights or used some of the television broadcasts. At the very least since so much comes from inside LSU Football use the recap portion of every show in order to see more of each game. I really wish someone had captured that moment in the UF game, when Tiger Stadium went NUTS. I guarantee it was louder than the earthquake game. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT MOMENT! A pleasant surprise was including the celebration in TS. Living in Memphis I didn't get to go and it was great to see that! It was interesting that in the 03 video there was a lot of footage of Tiger activities before the NC game (Saban dancing etc...) NONE to be found this time...I was a little surprised by that. Overall grade: B+ Definitely worth getting though!! :geauxtige
