Yes, Both! I really do hate politics. I wish we had some different way to solve our issues. I'm not saying there aren't some politicians that aren't scum but in general I just hate politics, I tend to hate left more than right of course. Sadly, It is a necessary evil!
Not all of them start out as scum. But the process definitely corrupts. At the end of the day, too much compromise steals the soul.
Good news! The House passed their bill by a narrow margin...220-215. Dems: 219 - 39 Reps: 1 - 176 This hopefully will be enough to convince voters to start removing these idiots from office. This is by far the worst Congress in America's history and has driven this country down the tubes the last three years. The lone Republican was Joseph Cao from Louisiana. I don't know if he was trying to make the locals happy but they're still not going to re-elect him even if he becomes a Democrat. He's not the right color for many New Orleans voters who vote race ahead of anything else.
The House bill is not good news. It includes a public option. Hopefully it will be removed during the process of reconciling the senate and house versions.
You may have a point but I really think OBL and the terrorist attacks were the beginning of the end since you mentioned that time period. I don't know, if people don't vote these people out there is no doubt in my mind that this country is going hard left socialism. The government will have unprecedented control over our lives and freedoms like never before. Also we will have to depend on these scumbags for the very lives of our families.
