I Don't plan on being a troll or talking about the Gators, just had a quick ticket question. Just got my tickets in the mail today for the game. Sec. 642 (Gators Section) Just wanted to know if anyone knew how the rows worked. I have seen AA as well as single letters. Was not sure if it starts AA or A-Z then AA. Any info would be appreciated. I am looking forward to visiting and cant wait for the game. Any other info for gameday would be great. Thanks.

That "W" you see is nothing -- it's just a discoloration on the concrete (see how it is located between the two poles above and below it, and not in the center of the step?). The letters are not on the top of the steps, they are on the front of the steps so that you can see them as you stand there looking up the steps. From bottom-to-top, they go A to Z, then AA and up. But it might not start at A there your section, it might start at somewhere in the middle of the alphabet, like M to Z, then AA and up.
Section 642 starts with row A through Z then AA-FF. Here's a photo from 638 row FF. You will have to duck low flying planes in these seats. Welcome to Death Valley.
I love the upper levels. Just be sure you use the elevator. You'll be gassed by the time you reach your seats if you don't.
wuss. i thought it was just a nice invigorating climb the one time i sat up there. :hihi: of course, it was for the florida game two years ago and i was so pumped up, i had a bit of energy to spare! :grin:
Actually, I was just in that section this weekend, and I can say definitively that the letters are on top of the step, but they are white on light grey concrete, so they don't show up very well. I can also say that the lettering starts around D. I was on row S and was pretty far up. I imagine you'll be 1-3 rows from the very top.
