Not sure if this belongs here but the idea spurred from discussions of prospects for the open OC position. Some of the names being thrown around for OC positions are former head coaches that were fired like Ralph Friedgen, Mike Leach, Rich Rod and recently Charlie Weise to FL. These guys could likely get HC positions at smaller schools rather than take OC jobs.. My question is, if their long term goal is to get back to being a HC of a BCS program, which do you think is the best route: 1. Take a lesser HC job with hopes to build up that program, showcase your talents as head man and get more HC experience. or 2. Take a high profile coordinator position with hopes to gain nation publicity off the accomplishments of that School.
