well if you read everything that was said, which obviously you haven't, you would know that pretty much everyone has said, that the calls or non calls had no effect on the outcome of the game. So how can it be sour grapes? We got our asses kicked, and I think it was DRC who said it best, the problem with Fairley is he really didn't need to do all that garbage. He was blowing up our line like a carpet bomb. But does that excuse him driving his helmet into opposing players helmets into the ground, or body slamming people, or taking shots at knees? No it doesn't. You can defend him all you want, I wouldn't expect anything else, because like I said earlier, I would love to have him on my team, but you really need to watch the games without the orange and blue glasses. Like I said, I thought the hit on Mallett was a dirty shot also.

I had great seats on the first row of the upper deck looking down with 7x50's. There was a lot of holding happening inside. Not as flagrantly as last season, but the SEC refs still let a lot of holding go on. Other than that, it seemed like a well-called game.

Danielson just noted how an SEC coach has mentioned that Fairley likes to slam QBs to the turf. Auburn's dirty rep precedes it.

Have to figure it was an LSU coach who Gary got that from, no?

And GA just got flagged 15 yds for chop-blocking Fairley.

IMO Fairley is dirty as he constantly tries to take QBs UP and to the turf. He is trying to take them out of the game. Pure and simple. He is dirty.

Watching the game (Aub-GA) and he has to be the dirtiest player I've seen in college. Great player, not sure why he needs to play like that.

btw, AJ Green is the best receiver in the nation.

You guys see Fairley's latest cheap shot? Speared Murray in the spine 2 seconds after he threw it. At least the refs flagged it this time.

The guy needs to be suspended.

I started a thread on him in the College Sports forum.

I need someone to show me film of a dirtier player than Fairley in college football.

    I dare you.

Yeah, the first one he had Murray on the ground and kept pushing his helmet up and could have broke his jaw. He's trash!

Excellent defensive lineman. Dirtier than any player I have ever seen in any level of football. The play a few minutes ago was flagrant, ball away, helmet directly to a defenseless QB's back after he relaxed. Should have been removed from the game for it. That being said, I wish this trend of offense, offense, offense would hurry up and go away. I love the old SEC defensive battles. They are getting fewer and further between.
