The commentators were discussing that after the JJ slam.

I didn't like the calls. I'm not making excuses, we beat ourselves, but the announcers and officials were biased. I wasn't aware you could take off your helmet and run into the front row while the game is being played. I know it was over but the clock was running and he was in the front row acting like hulk hogan. All that was missing was the i am a real american song. We allowed this to happen by not hitting anyone. We are better than that.
*I keep saying announcers, my bad, it is commentators.*

I will say this about Fairlay, T Bob Hebert is going to have nightmares about that kid for the rest of his life.

what forum are you reading? everyone here has said that Fairlay is a beast, and was absolutely dominant, but if you don't think that he is a dirty player then you need your head examined.

I've said other places Fairly played a great game but the body slam play was way out line. At a minimum it was 15 yards, and it was close to being an ejection. JJ lands a few degrees differently and we could have had another serious neck injury.

If I were on the OL I would have chopped blocked anyone who did that to my QB. Hard. And let him know why.

If you thought that was regular football you must like your men in colorful tights with sprayed on orange tans.

It sucked - and I would say the same if our guys did it.

Fairley is a great player and I enjoy watching him do his best Drake Nevis impression every Saturday, but he took two very cheap shots on our QB and got away with each.

He should have been flagged for a personal foul when he hammered JJ to the ground after the play had already been blown dead. I think it was in the first qtr.

Yep, but I'm not sure the play had officially been blown dead. The play was over and it was completely unnecessary. It would have been a personal foul in the NFL, but the commentators were talking about how the NCAA needs to get on the same page as the NFL in this matter, because a play like that will eventually seriously hurt someone.

I got give it to Fairley the kid is a beast and was a major cause of what disrupted our O, but plays like that are "dirty", as someone else pointed out.
