Well, you have your own QB asking the fans or patience, not to boo him & at least 2 LSU fan boards are trying to run off both the Head Coach, & Crowton, with Rantards laying their eggs here now & on their board.

Would you commit to LSU if you were a top flight QB? If so, who would you commot to? Sam Nader or Verge Ausberry? River's is a brave man, but that could change quickly.

I don't think so. All of these recruits believe they can come in and compete for playing time right away. Some even believe THEY are better than what the program already has (RP anyone?).

Personally, I don't think it's scaring anybody away. If anything, our erratic QB play might actually have a few looking our way. Not the other way.

I've seen LSU students so drunk they could not stand without weaving but booing the qb. I remember one fg kicker in particular who went through a tough time. He even shot the students the bird once. However, I like to think that a young man would brace up. He may feel like saying, "screw you, you bunch of drunks. Where did you play? Think you could handle it?" Just can't say it. Or maybe he thinks, "Do you think that pass bounced off "MY" shoulder pads into the hands of the other team?" Or maybe, "Anyone else ever thought that when I throw an int, there other ten others guys in white who are "supposed" to help me make a tackle?" Probably awful tough to man up in that situation, but you can't give up. If you "willingly" step back, you will probably step back a lot in your life. Is JL a better qb? Is he the answer? I don't make the kind of money to make that decision. But I admire JL for NEVER BACKING DOWN. Even when it looks like all is down on him. JMO

Normally I would agree, but recruits also focus on their position coach. Does Crowton have anyone clamoring to teach them? Probably a difference between lack of talent, and development of talent. When every other position on the team develops but not QB, I would think some families would take a closer look at the reason.
