This is EXACTLY my sentiments. Miles does deserve criticism for some blunders, but he doesn't deserve the treatment he's getting. He has publically owned up, and he stated things will be addressed that needed to be addressed. He is honest if nothing else. Any unfortunately, it isn't only the ones with the sense of entitlement that wind up looking retarded. It's the entire fanbase.

There is no question this program is still suffering from the effects of the Perrilloux debacle. The problem for this team and many teams is that the QB position is the most important position. It's the heart of any team. There are rare exceptions where teams win championships without a good decision maker or leader under center.

My concern is that at the most important position we haven't had anyone rise to take that position. I'm hoping Zac Lee (if he doesn't play baseball at the next level) is that guy this year. I just think while he has all the talent, Jefferson is missing something.

On the W's and L's that's probably true. I do believe if we get off to a slow start like losing to a very good defensive team in NC, they may have to shut this site down. I think if we lose the first game this year it could get ugly. On the other side a win could give us the confidence that we need.

It's all on the QB position this year. Will someone please stand up?

I think ZLee stays a Tiger. However, I believe if he is on the football field this fall, we are in worse trouble than I think we are.

I totally understand the knocks on JJ, but I swear, if he just didn't take the sacks he took last year, his stats were actually impressive. He should only improve this season, and hopefully with a better OL and run game, (could it get worse??), the offense will improve by leaps and bounds. I think the defense will at least be as good. I just can't buy the doomsday predictions. If anyone can give me a reason to think we'll be worse than last season's 9-4 (5-3) team, I'm all ears. But I don't see it.

I will support LSU regardless of their record this year. That should go without saying for everyone here. However, all signs point to a remarkable season. I want to hear an argument for an LSU team that goes less than 9 wins. I think we will split the difference with Bama and UF, though we could win both. LSU will play like mad men this year. I can't wait!

We have the talent and overall coaching to take everything. Coaches and players come to LSU to compete for and win championships. The real question is will the team work together to take more than what is given them? No one individual will be able to answer the call, it will take a completely unified front. A task I think these Tigers are up for.

People always use this, but why is it that if the Myers and Sabans are so much better than Miles, is Miles taking them the distance with one of our worst teams this decade??????

Come talk to me when you realize there is more to a good program than a head coach and MANY other factors play their role.

They will never get it. To them, Saban actually runs the plays and scores the TD's. Myer actually tackles people in games.
