Have the players lost confidence in Miles?

So... isn't saying, "This is what I heard. Has anyone else heard the same or different?" requesting confirmation?

Suit yourself. I give legitimate media working under their bylines far more credibility than I give anonymous internet characters.

Only no one has asked for a link here. I have only pointed out that it is a rumor with no legs. You are on some campaign to elevate rumors to news status. Whatever blows your frock up. Nobody is buying it.

Nonsense. They can be neither or both.

Not at all. It's actually a redundant expression.

FWIW, a poster on TOS who is a trainer for the team (who has 'legit' connections, doesn't gossip, and who is often personally critical of CLM) said prior to the Auburn game that the team is very dedicated to the coaches, that they love them. He was unequivocal about the team's support for the coaching staff and said that anyone who says otherwise is BSing. I doubt one game (in which the team came out flat and let themselves down, IMO) would change that support.

Now this I would believe, especially since it is verified by several comments by several players that have been reported by the media. I would bet that more than anything these players are so dedicated and commited to trying to make coaches happy and successful, that they feel like they, let someone they look up to like a father, down by their performance against AU. Which is quite the opposite of losing faith in the coaching staff.

Sure. I have no problem with that part. It was how you opened the post that I took some issue with.

Here you are not asking a question but spreading a rumor about the whole team and invoking the inflammatory word "mutiny". From one unnamed person who talked to one unnamed team member . . . allegedly.

Then you state that we can take your info for what it was worth. So I told you what I thought it was worth. You made a decision to suggest that there was a mutiny going on with the Tigers on a public forum, so I felt obliged to point out that it was entirely unsubstantiated and worthless in my opinion. Nothing personal, just a response.

I have repeatedly said it wasn't about THIS topic, per se, but in general.

Show me something that's false...AND true.

With all due respect, I don't see where his post is "spreading rumors". He stated what he heard and asked for confirmation from anyone else that might be in the know. Now, if he had posted simply "the players have started a mutiny against the coaches" then I would wholeheartedly agree with your view. I mean, if your pal comes to you and says "hey man, I heard (this) and (that), did you hear the same?" That isn't really starting a rumor, and though I haven't been around here for long, I assume we're all pals here. Aren't we?

At any rate, I doubt there is a "mutiny" going on. And so I doubt the validity of the OP's "source". My daughter has friends who are siblings to a few players and we hear mostly positive feedback from those guys.
