LSU's defense couldn't have played any better than they did tonight. Awesome game plan by chief.

I've seen enough of JJ. Shepard isn't ready. Time for Lee to get another shot.

I'll chalk this up to emotion. While JJ has issues that will prevent him from ever being a franchise player at LSU, things aren't dire enough to bring back Lee. :(

Agreed on all points. Unfortunately, Miles is too damn stubborn to put Lee in. But sh!t, the kid's our only hope at this point. Jefferson's too god damn afraid to make a mistake to do anything positive.

I'm disappointed with Jefferson's development, but Lee is not the answer. JJ may not be able to run the offense, but he isn't spotting the other team 7.

That's the biggest problem with JJ, he plays affraid. I never see him making any throws between the 15 to 25 yard range. His pocket awareness is not good and he gets too deep in the pocket. This allows the defensive ends to get to him, sin they do not have to get around the tackles, they just have to go straight in a line towards JJ. The one thing about Lee is that he is not affraid to take chances.

One thing to take into consideration is that last year we didn't have a good enough defense to bail Jarett Lee out, this year we do.

All hail the Chief. As for the QB, come on, that's not surprising. We had Perriloux and then Lee turn out to be back-to-back duds... what is the chance of that happening?

I'd agree with your assertion that things aren't at the point where lsu has to make a change, but I also know that despite Jarrett's poor decisions at times last year he at least showed that he can execute the offense. JJ has never shown that at any point.

I talked about the biggest problem with JJ. Either you didn't read or you're saying that JJ does not have any problems.
