Hatcher has been a very solid player throughout his LSU career. That said, football is a what have you done for me lately gig. The last two games his play has dropped tremendously, culminating last week. He should have been benched, plain and simple. It goes back to what Ive been saying, Miles doesnt sit players who are underperforming. I know backers will say that just means there is no one there to replace that player. Fact is Reid, Loston, Eugene, Brooks, etc would have been much better in the game. Sometimes sitting a player sparks them to step up. Or their replacement plays over their head to earn PT.
