Has there been any real talk in BR about coaching changes?

That's the way I see it too. Whether it is what is actually happening or not is only a guess.

Like I posted in another thread, either way it makes no difference. Either the offensive staff in incompetent, or Miles doesn't trust them enough to give them full control. Either, way it means they are not the staff for the job. Miles is obviously not the solution on the offensive side. He needs to hire a quality staff that he trusts enough to give them full control. Until then absolutely nothing will change.

I think Miles goes out of his way to make shitty hires.

I don't disagree with you. Something is broken on that side of the ball in the passing game.

It's not just the passing game, it's the playcalling and entire offensive scheme. Bama doesn't pass the ball a lot, but they pass the ball efficiently. They also hit athletes in space, spread the ball around and make the defense protect the entire field on every play. The LSU staff has absolutely no feel for offensive football. The offense is often succesful in either one phase or the other but lacks rhyme, reason, flow and fluidity. The TE's and backs are not part of the passing plan. The offense looks more often than not like it is running in waste deep taffy with no clue how to break free. The entire football world minus a few diehard Ray Charles desciples sees it.

Agreed, I just don't want to seem like I am complaining about our rushing attack, which is really good, but I see what you are saying. Alot of it is in game changes. It's almost like the entire offense is scripted and cannot be deviated from. The Bama game, Mett was on fire, let him win that game for you by picking up the first down in their territory, instead of playing for the field goal. Clemson, Mett is struggling, the rushing attack is killing, then we try to let Mett seal the game. It's almost like there is no recognition of what is working and what isn't in game.

You may already realize this, but you can expect every post you respond to by LSUpride to receive a response. This site is apparently his job. No response to his posts will go unresponded to. If you disagree w/him, words like bullshit come out, and eventually, he resorts to bullying tactics. Furduknfish knows this and gets into it w/him, and makes me laugh. You may be up for it, too. I don't have the time or interest personally.

This is why I am not at all impressed w/Mett's #5 all-time ranking in passing yards for LSU stat. That thread that refers to this makes it sound like he had an unbelievable season. It's not about total passing yards, it's about making the right calls at the right time, and smoothness/efficiency in your offense. As you elude to, under CLM, that has never been the case.
