Has there been any real talk in BR about coaching changes?

Seems like if there was anything solid to the rumors, there would be one specific name.

Would Stud stay on as O-line coach exclusively? Though I'd like such a thing, I doubt this would happen. Coaches aren't too fond of demotions and the Mallory/Peveto disaster showed us what is likely to happen.

A big time strong minded OC would probably want his own assistants.

Not necessarily if it is expected that the coaches are going to take jobs offered elsewhere.

You see guys come into a Pro team all the time, an mix well. Most coaches know its a business, thats just the way it is. Lots of movement in the profession. At times a Head Coach will get input from the other coaches. This is a tight profession, many know each other, or know of them, or have friends that have worked together. A lot closer than most any other profession.

Nope, many times a coach will interview, it may get out later. Remember many schools would rather not have a coach turn "them" down.

It is a rare head coach who doesn't make all of his own assistant coaching selections. Some want even more control. Joe Dean was pursuing a head coach in the 1990's but dropped him when he insisted on bringing in his own training staff. LSU had spent years developing a top training staff for all sports and was not about to replace them on the whims of an untried head football coach.

Dinardo, who brought back the magic, but then let the wheels come off.

I think Dinardo showed the future coaches how important it is to put a fence around Louisiana in recruiting. His teams always had alot of talent, no doubt about that.
