i agree that the "I-absolutely-hate-Miles" faction was and still is completely retarded and it's funny the same retards are now the "I-absolutely-love-our-current-coaches-and-everything-about-them" faction

it's like they are bi-polar (or Little children like you said) and can't see pros and cons and think and discuss things rationally (i am retarded too when I'm drinking and posting which i do a lot, but sober? i mean come on)

That said, even people that love Les and everything he did for us (like me) should know that moving on from Les was a good thing for both Les and for LSU

    Regarding Les:
We (LSU) did do him right.
    1. We paid him many multiples of tens of millions and made him fantastically wealthy for his services, even paid him a huge buy-out of like $10 million to fire him. If i had an employer that made me so fantastically wealthy for my services and added on $10 millon just in return for firing me, there would be nothing but good feelings toward them, right?
    2. I think we did let him go out in style. Dude got carried off the field in legendary fashion to a standing ovation from Tiger Stadium at the end of last season. Has any coach ever had so great a goodbye? I don't even think the Bear got that. Hell, watching David Ortiz retire from the Red Sox, he didn't get that. If i got that kinda good bye at the end of my career, i would be absolutely happy
    3. Les was 64. You are supposed to retire at that age. Everyone does. No hard feelings there
    4. except for the idiot-faction that hated him, we all love him for all the good he did for us, including the administration, his coaches, and his players and they were all vocal about that. Ed O praised him thoroughly and by all reports the administration had a sober mood like a death in the family when we fired him
    5. etc etc etc

    Regarding LSU:
it was good for us to fire him
    1. pretty much all long-time legendary HOF and national-title-winning coached gotta go when they lose their mojo late in their careers as they get into retirement age, FSU with Bobby Bowden etc and pretty much every great coach like them
    2. Les did have a huge problem with getting good QBs other than Mettenberger and Fields at Okla St. Not having good QBs sucks and hopefully we get a head coach or OC with a great record of finding/recruiting good QBs. That would/will be exciting if/when we do!
    3. Les wasn't an innovative x-and-o offensive mastermind and their are coaches out there we can get who are, and that is exciting to think about!
    4. Les was 0-5 vs Bama over the last 5 and not beating Bama doesn't cut it here at LSU. We were 3-2 vs Saban originally with Les and that is what we expect here at LSU
    5. etc etc etc

You talk out your ass more than anyone on this board. I happen to know a couple guys that are very high in the TAF and neither of them have said anything resembling your "big money boosters are pulling out". If anything it was the other way around. Another thing, with this offense I absolutely believe we would've beat both Wisconsin and Auburn. Hell we almost beat both with the horrible ass offense that Miles fielded. It's less painful for me to go ram my head into the wall repeatly than try to make sense of your dumbass posts!

No I just like calling you out when you talk out your ass. It makes a lot of sense that boosters are pissed when we beating the hell out of teams since Miles departure huh, and I don't care what the level of competition is since we we're famous for playing down to that level during Miles tenure late.

Yea 10 seasons and $55 million is a terrible way to treat a coach.

Totally disagree. Les and LSU mutually combined for a legendary run that he is proud of, I'm proud of and most of LSU is proud of. He was one of the greatest and it will be fun to tell future generations about him and to visit his shrine at the LSU, Louisiana and the CFB Hall of Fames. We hit back to back home-runs with Saban (except for how he sold us out and turned against us) and Les, each of whom brought home a national title. Hell, even Dinardo before them bought us the legendary upset of #1 Florida after a decade of Florida butt-raping our asses and i was awarded with the only time i got to storm the field of Tiger Stadium (have it all framed bigger than my LSU diploma even lol) and the cover of Sports Illustrated (Kevin Faulk on the front which i got him to sign). The bar is indeed high here at LSU now thanks to Dinardo/Saban/Les. Ed O knows this and we got #1 Bama at home, which will be a lot easier to beat than when Dinardo beat #1 Florida at home and fulfilled his "bring back the magic" campaign after the all-time low in LSU history of the Curly Hallman era.
