Yep, Can't wait to see him and the top recruit DB Johnson in the back field next year. Makes me warm and fuzzy inside!:helmet: :thumb:
Watching from the stadium, I never saw it, but did anyone at home see him blow any coverages? I was pretty suprised to see Coleman be that man that stepped in for Steltz, but after his performance I can see why. Our competition for that spot next year should be fierce.
So, I guess Saban should get claim to another NC, since he recruited him!!!!                 :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
he put a laron landry-esque hit on beckman (sp?) with the pressure that caused the jackson pick...looking forward to seeing that play in the highlight vids.
I think he got the stinger when he was chasing down Wells on the td run in the first quarter :crystal: :crystal:
A pleasant surprise indeed. The speed at which he hit the QB on the delayed blitz was incredible. He was a missile! He must be in the mix next year. Find a spot for him and Chad Jones to play full time. Makes you wonder why he wasn't in McCrays rover role, but anyway we have found us a big game player. Some guys just rise to the occasion and are game day players and I think he is one. He has the speed to cover and close as demonstrated last night. Turn him loose next year. He and Chad Jones need to be on the field to stop these wide open offenses, ie. Florida, and even to chase down that fast Ole Miss backup QB. This is the speed we need at rover and LB too.
I knew I could find out who this number 24 guy was if I came here!! Props to Harry! He was all over the field, making big plays every time I turned around. And props to Bayou Bengal11 for starting a thread for him!
I always knew this kid could play. But he really stepped up. McCray did a decent job in coverage as well. but Coleman what a beast to step up like that. I loved every minute of it. Our defense just might be pretty good next year.
