Yep, congratulations to Harry Coleman! Great performance!!! To just have to step in and perform, he looked like he was in the right place all the time. Heady play.
Coleman's play tonight sort of makes me feel all warm and fuzzy about our D prospects for next year. He's a star who's been waiting in the wings. A GREAT performance in a key position in the biggest game of (several) years. Thanks, 24!
He sure stepped up in the clutch. Sorry for Steltz that he got hurt, he sure had a great year. Great.
Yet another "feel good story" for LSU this season. Coleman just joined the ranks of a Matt Flynn, sitting the bench for most of his time here, to win a national title in his last game as an LSU Tiger. And the other would be Dorsey of course. Turns down guaranteed millions to return to LSU for a chance to win a National championship AND walk away with a degree!
Sucks that Steltz gut hurt, you could see that he wanted back in, but #24 definetly drank his big boy juice before the game. That is the awesome depth that LSU has. Great game! :LSU231: :LSU231: :LSU231: :LSU231: :LSU231: :LSU231: :milesmic: :milesmic: :milesmic: :milesmic: :milesmic: :milesmic: :crystal: :crystal: :crystal:
He did an awesome job. Nice to know we have good quality backups and kids coming on. Felt sorry for Steltz, it had to be killing him not to be able to play. But I never did see when he got the stinger.
That's the real truth in this story, and that's why recruiting is so important. It really makes a difference to have depth, quality depth, at any given position. Any given Saturday (or Monday) a player can get hurt and we need quality players to step in and be effective. This is why everyone should follow the RECRUITING area of this forum thru signing day and beyond... !
