The weight should help but possibly more important is that fine line of avoiding a hit. Hopefully Harris will use his legs and run a few times/game. If it's a 3rd down and he picks up the 1st, slide or run out of bounds. If it's a 3rd and 7 in a tight SEC game and the pocket collapses (forcing a run), then put your body on the line to get the 1st down. Just limit the number of times you put your body on the line like that.
All QBs make bad throws. Mett did and was aggressive as hell. It paid off more than it cost us I think. Harris has a strong enough arm to take chances. He doesn't throw ducks like Jennings.
I watched a replay of Rohan Davey the other day and man he flung it into coverage, but gave his receivers a chance. They were also deep and a turnover was not a horrible thing, especially on third down.
Don't know why, and it wasn't this game, but this post made me remember another game when Mett was crawling off the field with a knee injury and no tigers came to his aid. My primary wish for this year's tiger team is that they play as a team.
