Correct, but Les has also shown that he doesn't mind throwing the football more when we have a QB who is capable of doing so efficiently. Think Mett and Flynn. I also don't think Miles is going to play one over the other, either way, for any other reason than because he believes one or the other offers the best chance to win. I think the one caveat for Harris will be turnovers. Miles hates turnovers and if Harris goes out and starts throwing interceptions he will get yanked quickly. Otherwise, I think Miles and Cam know that Harris is the overall better talent and because of that he is their preference moving forward as long as he doesn't go wild and turn the ball over carelessly.
Bingo. Turnovers lose more football games than anything else. If you want to lose the confidence of Les, fumble the ball or throw an interception.
Georgia names their starter: Greyson Lambert. A really good buddy of mine is a UGA grad, huge dawgs fan. He is extremely upset with this decision, ready to throw in the towel on the season comparing Lambert to that of Anthony Jennings (A Georgia native). After LMAO I did a little research on the two QB's. Now, Lambert didn't play the entire year last year and neither did Jennings (albeit most of it) here is their stat comparisons for 2014: Lambert: 1632 yards 10 td's 11 int's (55% comp.) vs. ACC Defenses Jennings: 1611 yards 11 td's 7 int's (48% comp.) vs. SEC Defenses Is Georgia is trouble?
My 2 main concerns with Harris - (I love his talent) #1 Turnovers. They lose games. I can see him making aggressive throws that get picked off. I can also see him fumbling during a scramble. #2 An injury. He's going to run several times a game. I hope he knows when to get out of bounds or slide.
I am more worried about an injury than the other. Miles deplores turnovers so much I do not think he would have named Harris the starter if he thought Harris wouldn't make smart decisions with the ball. That said, if Harris does get careless with the ball I expect to see Jennings relatively quickly.
