Bama has recruited #1 for years and go look at their worst finish over the last 5. It's the same rankings that rank our guys.

 

No coach in the history of our program has done as well as Les Miles. He has been to two NC games and won one of them. Not too long ago all we had to brag on was the 1958 team and Billy Cannon. Do you know what that felt like?
Every one wants to be better. Its almost impossible to stay at the top in College football.

I love Miles for what he's done, but like the greats, all good things come to an end.

 

They have not won the NC five years in a row. Yes, having 5 and 4 star recruits is more likely to give you better success than having 4 and 3 star ones. Its just does not always work out that way.

 

They have been elite for 5 years and counting.

I dont expect any any coach to win as many as he has.

Is he? One batch of recruits that are not as talented as they were hyped up to be, to me, is not failing. I look at the recruits that are coming in, and personally I am excited. It has been a while since we had a Dorsey, a Kyle Willams on the line. Not to mention a pocket passer like Miles Brennan.
