I believe that Harbaugh took himself out of the running last summer when he started running his mouth about Michigan. Nothing against CLM, but before that I was pulling for Harbaugh to take over here. I was of the opinion that while we generally have a decent D, CLC has mostly wasted the offensive talent that he's had. You can't just line up and say these are the plays we run lets see if you can stop us. There is too much parity these days. I believe Harbaugh would have opened things up, and added a few wrinkles on a weekly basis. He's already proved he can beat USC. BHD
