The OL is going to have to step it up if we are going to make any noise on the national scene. We look like a 9-4 or 10-3 team right now, to me, but if the D tightens up against the run just a bit and the offensive line blocks a little bit better, we can be title contenders. No one really looks like a clearcut dominant team this year. USC and OSU both look pretty mediocre tonight. Texas gave up 20 points to Monroe and struggled in the first half against Wyoming. Florida hasn't played a real team yet.

Very happy with the win. We are 1-0 in in the SEC.
D looked much better. O looked good - and considering the wet conditions, real good. I still miss seeing Steltz on special team coverage, but that is the past and we did look OK there.

Take away one offensive holding call and we win 30-0.

Ugly win. Basically the same as last week but didn't give up as many yards on defense which to me had more to do with Vandy having absolutely no passing game at all.

No excitement at all on the field, overall LSU was out-coached for the second week in a row. IMHO.

Hey it was a good win against a good vandy team. The D showed so much improvement. My biggest concern was the pass protection.

I didn't see where we were outcoached. They passed for 88 yards and we stopped the run in the second half. Sure, we played conservative on offense, with so many runs up the middle, but that wears a weaker team out. We had no problem running it in for that last TD.

We are an improving team. Let's hope we go into the FL game undefeated.

    Congrats Tigers!!!!

Defense is improving, but the big chunks of yardage we're giving up in the running game trouble me. And the red zone interception turned the momentum of the game around; unfortunately that was a question of Vandy making a bad play rather than us making a good one.

Am I the only one who thinks our pass blocking is still very suspect? Granted, JJ needs to go through his progressions quicker, but he is getting hit way too often IMO.

Bottom line....rain was a definite factor, and I never turn my nose up at a win. But I wanted to see a bigger improvement from last week than we showed.

I didnt get to watch the game as I am in Ann Arbor and went to the michigan notre dame game but watched it on my cell phone.

i am very happy, my friends said the weather was horrible. No major injuries, defense appeared to have played well.

its a win, and we will only get better.... Geaux Tigers
