[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkWpmWmi83Q]George Bush...Tribal Sovereignty? - YouTube[/ame] "tribal sovereignty, means just that, it's sovereign... you..you.. you're a... you're a... you've been given sovereignty...and you're viewed as a sovereign entity.. and therefore the relationship between the federal government and tribes is one between s...s...s... sovereign entities." Verbatim Holy ****....:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: You can even hear people in the background laughing.
what exactly is he wrong about? he was asked a very stupid question, basically to define a sentence. i am sure if asked about tribal sovereignty you would be far more articulate. i know i would be shocked by the simplicity of the question, which would leave me a bit flummoxed. and i am maybe 4 times more articulate than anyone in this thread. stop taking the easy way out. stop making cheap arguments. stop trying to inlsult your political opponents because you are a hack. focus on issues.
And he failed to do so. We have sovereign Indian tribes in the United States and the President should be very aware of it and understand the definition. Almost anybody would. This does not surprise me at all.
when you ask a question like "what does tribal sovereignty mean" you should just hand the guy a dictionary. its not a real question. it is a guy asking another guy for a word definition. might as well ask what does "red car" mean. it means a car. that is red. tribal soverignty means sovereignty. of tribes. if you know what those two words mean, it doesnt really require defining does it.
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=of61E1FesPU&feature=related]Obama, a complete idiot. - YouTube[/ame] We can take snippets of the most brilliant people and present them to be idiots. This 'go to play', from page 1 in the left wing play book is old and tiring.
seriously? being a tobacco smoker or being fat has nothing to do with whether you'd be a great president or not great tobacco smokers include: Albert Einstein, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, Ulysses S. Grant (who was said to smoke 20 cigars a day), Dwight Eisenhower, Douglas MacArthur, Andrew Jackson, James Madison, Jefferson Davis, John F. Kennedy, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Sigmund Freud, and countless others great fat people include Teddy Roosevelt and i'll just stop right there because he's arguably the greatest man that ever lived Franklin D. Roosevelt Teddy Roosevelt
I am willing to bet frog is a smoker and obese and hates this about himself so he directs this hate toward others that have the same habits. No mirrors in your house frog?
All those people smoked before it was generally known the damage that smoking does. For someone to smoke knowing the damage it does and knowing that they're a role model throughout the world is a serious character flaw. Probably none of the men that you listed would be smokers if they lived today, with maybe a couple of exceptions
agree that smoking was more socially acceptable in the past, but i disagree that it wasn't generally known that it was bad for you. anybody who has ever smoked tobacco can tell you that it makes you sick, makes you cough, restricts your lung capacity, makes it harder to breathe, makes it harder to smell, etc -- heck, if you don't want your kids to smoke, make them chain smoke a pack of cigarettes and they will never want to touch the stuff again (i know someone whose parents did this to them) 7th US President Andrew Jackson, for example, suffered headaches from his tobacco use, and he told his doctor "Now, Doctor, I can do anything you think proper, except give up coffee and tobacco." Jackson's wife smoked too. Jackson was also famous being such a fan of chewing tobacco that brass spittoons were installed in the White House. Dwight Eisenhower (34th US President) smoked four packs a day and his doctor recommended that he cut it down to one. he had numerous heart attacks and cardiac arrests, including during his time as President 12th U.S. President and war hero Zachary Taylor's wife got so ill from smoking that he only smoked in the presence of male companions who also smoked as for it being socially acceptable, James Madison (4th US President) was the first smoker to become President, and he smoked to his death at age 85... but his wife Dolley Madison scandalized Washington as one of the few women to openly pinch snuff with congressmen. but anyway, your belief in voting for a president who is a role model to the world for physical health is silly. who cares if the president is a role model to the world for physical health? that's one of the last thing you should be concerned about when voting for President. Arnold Schwarzenegger is a role model for physical health and has even served as spokesman of national health organizations, but that is one of the last things you should consider in deciding whether he'd be a great President or not. also, if you're not a vegetarian already, I hope you don't read any books that point out all the health benefits of being a vegetarian... it might shatter your whole self-concept
