Keep using statements like this to make yourself feel safer...the fact is this...we are coming to beat the brakes off of your team on November 5th...and Tricky Nicky will have to shake Les Miles hand in defeat again.

LSU made Nick Saban...and now it's time to break him.

I am trying to stay away from comparisons the next two weeks, because when these two team face, you can throw EVERYTHING out of the window. (Stats, Rankings, SOS, Heisman Candidates, EVERYTHING) The ONLY advantage that truly applies for either team, is Bama has Home Field.

    THAT IS IT.

BUT, after watching the Tenn. game, I can’t help but notice, that in the 2nd half, when Bama needed a Rally, AJ stepped up, BUT BUT BUT....It was against Tenn. And as I re-watch those highlights, NO WAY he gets that kind of time to pass, that kind of space to move about the pocket, or those wide open targets down field when he faces LSU! – No Way!

On the roll outs, IF he even gets the chance to Roll out, his check downs will tackled for 2 or 3 yard gains, no WIDE OPEN WR will be making his way across the middle, and on the PA TD pass he threw over the top, LSU will be all over that with either a pick or swat. Richardson's td run where he bounced off like 6 would be tacklers, won’t happen on our D.

Now, I am inclined to say that I truly only have 1 game to watch film on Alabama’s defense playing an explosive offense and that was Arkansas. They haven’t faced any other true threat. LSU will protect Lee and give him much more time to throw than Tyler had, Lee has proven not to make mistakes so Bama will NOT Get a defensive score, they will also not get the punt return either. This not giving Bama an early lead and LSU can maintain a balanced offensive attack to keep Bama’s defense honest instead of playing hail mary come from behind like Arky had to do. Arkansas had NO run game, LSU’s Strength and Alabama will HAVE to stack the box and LSU can open up the PA deep threat.

Again, I am going to revert back to where I started, I am not making comparisons, this one is about as evenly matched as I think I have ever witnessed and even with that, I STILL will not predict a close game, because I have just seen too much madness and unbelievable play from BOTH of these 2 teams this year. From downright dominance to some lucky bounces for both squads.

I don’t care about SOS or quality wins, these 2 have DOMINATED anybody and everybody who has come near. PERIOD!!

You have the right read on this team, IMHO, because we ARE a team. Look what happens to a BCSNC team in one season, due to its one-dimensional character: Auburn! Subtract $cam Newton & there ya go!

The article rightly shows that LSU can make subs/deletions/suspensions--whatever--and the party never stops!

    That is DEPTH!

    That is TEAM!

    TEAM LSU!

It is no wonder at all that CBS positioned the LSU-Bama collision for the evening.

No fools, they! Maximizing audiences and market share have realigned this one, fo schizzle.

The entire CFB Nation will be watching this one, plus our Armed Forces, truth be told.

    Geaux Tigers!

the prediction thread on tide fans (5 pages long atm)
    LSU vs BAMA Predictions

Not surprising, they are all very confident they will win, with some of the clowns claiming they will beat us down by scores such as 41-13, 41-10, 37-13, etc. Two more of them claimed they would completely blow us out with our QBs throwing 4 INTs

We must not turn the ball over.
    We must get a turnover.
We must make clean tackles in the open field.
Our receivers must catch the ball
we must not allow bama to beat us up. Bama powers over teams just as we have done in the fourth qtr of every game. We must not allow them to beat us up. We have to be just as physical as they will be. That's how we won last year.

Keep talking, you got it. It is power football vs power football. This is how both have shaped and polished themselves all season, every game. If anyone has to reinvent the wheel now, that someone is in trouble. I believe the most physical, smart team will win.
