Gunner was honored as Mr. Football in Indiana during some sporting event and the crowd started chanting LSU. This happened tonight... Weird
Sounds like the cats out of the bag, sounds very encouraging, or some peoples wishful thinking. Hope to see him in P&G.
Was thinking the same thing. Could understand if it was a Norte dame chant but the fact that it was an LSU chant seems like someone knows. Maybe not. Seems strange to me. I'm thinking he is a tiger
Kiel nears decision | The Indianapolis Star | indystar.com Kiel nears decision Highly sought Columbus East senior quarterback Gunner Kiel said he plans to have a college decision made by Christmas, with LSU, Notre Dame or Vanderbilt the likely finalists. Kiel, who accepted The Indianapolis Star Indiana Mr. Football trophy at Tuesday's Columbus North-Columbus East boys basketball game, said he wanted to make an announcement there but "couldn't make a decision." "It'll be a gut feeling," said Kiel, who was at one time committed to Indiana. "It's been a very hard decision." The 6-4, 215-pound Kiel passed for 2,517 yards and 28 touchdowns as a senior and rushed for 482 yards and 11 TDs. Kiel said he has no more college visits planned and that he'd "sit down with my family and make a decision soon." Columbus East students chanted "LSU" as Kiel accepted the trophy. Scout.com: Now I'm hearing LSU for Gunner With the local kids chanting "LSU", I think it's fair to say that LSU has moved into national brand status. LSU has risen to the top of college football at just the right time. The world is connected and is only growing more so. LSU as brand is what is being talked about, tweeted, status updated, etc. Kids that are developing an interest in college football are forming emotional bonds with the teams (brands) that are out in front. LSU also does the best job of any NCAA university at digital media. Notre Dame is still a national brand because they were dominant when the last media revolution, television was born. They haven't won jack **** in years but they have a loyal following.
Sort of, Harvey Williams, but they were singing the A&M Fight song. A coach I know still says LSU paided him. At that time the recruiting coach told me he could hardly pay his own bills. Then there was talk about the car Harvey got. I was at practice one day and got to see it. I think it was an old 280zx, bondo was the only thing holding it together. :hihi:
