pretty impressive to get him back on campus so fast. They just brought the family down on a flight and now his parents are paying to join him on his official visit. They are headed to Vandy this weekend.

Should know his destination fairly soon given he is an early enrollee.

When the talk with him started, i thought we had a shot just based on the fact he had originally comitted to Indiana. If he could commit there, he could anywhere. Now i really love our chances.

FWIW, he's from there. And has a brother that plays up there. That, and the fact he wanted the pressure off for a while is why he 'committed' to Indiana.

I don't have a problem with two QBs if we use them like we did in 2007. I don't want another four years like these where we've left "W"s on the field due to QB play.

Regarding JJ...the guy is good enough to get it done because he's surrounded by tremendous talent. Other than that I don't see a lot from the kid. I've never seen a kid get as much opportunity as him and yet he hasn't progressed much during the past three years.

If he was as great as you think, he would have a future in the NFL. Ask yourself why he's not turning any heads in the NFL. His ability to read defenses, pass consistently, understand clock management, etc. are not up to par with top college QBs.

I want the kid to do well because he's a Tiger. I'm not going to pretend he's a great player simply because he's a Tiger. I don't hate the guy...I'm just being realistic.

I don't understand why some here hang on his jock like he's a Heisman candidate or top draft pick.

I know all that and understand, comment was really to say that anybody stands a chance with this kid. Especially, winning teams and teams playing for championships.

IMO we have a good shot because we don't have a proven light out QB. If this kid comes in early, competes, and has the talent Miles will play the player that gives the team the best chance at winning. The goals every year are much to high to let a player sit if he gives the team a better chance at another SEC title or NC. CLM has proven on multiple occasions he will play the best players the team has. I think that has to mean something to this guy. Not to mention the school, facilities, fan base, game day environment, success of the program etc etc.
