The only real thing that sucks about this (if it indeed turns out to be true) is that Patrick Miller had to enroll at Auburn when we could have given him Kiel's EE slot. Before Kiel committed, we all thought this was a longshot and that longshot turned into a reality for us. We still have: Mettenberger Randall Rivers We have openings for Edwards and Tracey if they are interested. Let's not assume the sky is falling, hold our chins up, and move forward with the dignity that LSU Tigers are born with.
Folks, KyleK is referring to Murray In Tishomingo... Murray State College - Tishomingo, Oklahoma - Undergraduate Information
I suppose I'll catch grief over this but when someone gives you their word, it should be all there is to it. Not just with this Kiel youngster but with anyone. Not sure if he's coming or not. If he is I am glad, if not, we'll move on. But it seems nowadays a commitment is not worth squat. Glad our dads and granddads, when they made a commitment as in WWI, WWII, etc., they meant what they said. Today's generation and apparently the parents raising them have no intestinal fortitude.
Dude. Is this in honor of MLK Day? That's what E. Porter wanted to know too. http://barkingcarnival.fantake.com/2010/08/03/les-miles-reminds-lsu-recruit-elliott-porter-that-he-still-cant-count/
Basically exactly what we wish would happen with Collins happened with with Kiel. Parents pushing and pushing to stay home and they got their way. His good family friend who wrote the story about Kiel as a person said he talked to Kiel said he talked to Gunner recently and he was all LSU. Just reinforces they rule of thumb, the closer NSD or enrolling day comes the harder it is to leave home.
