Probably one of the worst kept secrets. He decided 2 weeks ago according to classmates. Informed Les on Friday and kept it as quiet as possible so they could inform ND. Kelly knew they weren't the choice so probably wouldn't pick up.
Good Post!!!! 100% agreement!!! WOW for a guy who was taking heat for not being able to recruit QBs Miles is doing alright with the last few QB pick ups.
I am surprised he is a Tiger Yes I am surprised he wanted to be a Tiger .But I am glad he wanted to be a Tiger . This is his quote "“I woke up Friday morning and knew I wanted to be a Tiger,” Kiel told MyIndianaFootball.com. “I can’t wait to be a Tiger.” So now we have 3 QB's to deal with . Gonna be a hard season 2012 .
Just spent an hour reading up on Gunner and watching film on him. He seems like the real deal and seems like a REALLY good kid with the type of leadership that you want under center for your team. I did the research bc I have a Bama friend who says to "mark it down, he'll be a bust". I admit that I was trying to find something negative about the guy......I found nothing negative. Sour grapes in Tuscaloosa I guess. Welcome to LSU! Gunner. :tigereye:
@BHelm... I know you've tried to address the PM issue. I have no issues with you or any other mod here (that I know of). Just frustrating, because I'd be happy to address people in PM...but can't.
No offense taken FH. And you are absolutely right that a couple of weeks ago no one believed GK would be coming to Baton Rouge. Certainly I did not believe it. I did not get a hint that GK was leaning toward LSU until Christmas day. Just shows you how fluid things are in recruiting. The important thing is that Kiel in now a Tiger. What a huge coop for Miles to snatch Indiana's top recruit from under Notre Dame's nose. Fantastic.
:geaux: Welcome to Tiger Town Gunner. :thumb: We're gonna enjoy watching you in Tiger Stadium for the next four years. :LSU231:
