    Nov. 28, 2011-- CBSSports.com "All Cowboys RapidReports"

Coach Mike Gundy doesn't have a vote in the coach's poll to help boost OSU's No.5 ranking, but if he did have a vote he would probably vote both LSU and Alabama above OSU.

"I don't know how I could put us in front of them now," Gundy said.

Sometimes you just have to put away those stats and all those really smart computers that have NEVER WATCHED A FOOTBALL GAME and come to that most important conclusion, seeing is believing.

Guy should be fired for that stupid comment alone. His team is fighting for a shot and he says that? What a dumbfrick.

See that nice pretty thread we have around here somewhere debating Saban's use of the word seems? Watch how fast that now becomes yesterday if they beat Oklahoma. Then it'll all be about a different now.

Urban played his hand masterfully in 2006. Saban has had his machine going for several days now. Gundy clearly has no idea how to play BCS politics. If he thinks the media will take up his case for him, he's sorely mistaken.

:geaux: Look's like doesn't want any part of LSU or a shot at the National Championship. :rolleye33: Maybe the Alabastard's payed him to make that idiot statement. He should be lobbying all out for his team NOW to lay the groundwork should they beat OU. Dumbazz. :LSU231:

He's just trying to fire his boys up, trying to piss them off so they go out & want to beat OU by 30 pts. cus that's the only way they would have a good shot at getting past bama. Bama is clearly an all around better team that Okie. Okie has a good O that puts up huge #'s against woeful D. They wouldn't put up more than 20-24 pts. against LSU or bama.

Coach Saban gave a nice presser today even though no games were scheduled, imagine that. Came out all decked in Crimson Blazer and tie. What's that old saying this time of year,"keep your friends close and the media closer."

I have to say that this OSU team is not thought of in the same terms as that 2006 gator team. Meyer's knew that in the mind of the media there was the big three out there.

Nick knows how the media game is played. Gundy is a neophyte to this kind of national spotlight (rants about being a 40-yr old man notwithstanding), and his lack of media savvy is glaring.

The one constant in OSU's favor throughout, the computers love them cowboys. Humans, not so much. Who knew that actually included the head man himself?

Of course, this is before all of the top teams play their conference championships while Bama sits at home. I have a feeling ideas will change next weekend.
